Is a basic wine class. This is a four week class on Monday nights starting at 7:00pm. The first class starts out with a Component Tasting. This class is where each "student" learns how to taste wine and differentiate between the characteristics of what they actually taste. We go through the aroma wheel and answer any questions that come up. We also like to think of the first class as an ice breaker to make everyone feel comfortable and prepare them for the following four nights. The second Monday is "White Night". Students learn about the different varietals of the white grape and not just the basic Chardonnay. The third Monday is "Red Night". This class seems to be very popular. We cover many red varietals and by tonight the questions really start flowing! The fourth Monday night we cover Champagne and Sparkling. What a great way to end the four week class - learning about bubbles!!!! This class covers the differences between the real "sweet" stuff and the "good" stuff and why some are called Champagne and some are called Sparkling Wine. You get to taste all different kinds of bubbles and sometimes it's off the top shelf!! The four week class is $75.00 per person and everything is included. The first night you receive a notebook and by the end of the five weeks your notebook is overflowing with handouts and personal notes. |

| Be sure to keep your notebook handy because wine 200 and 300 are next. They are a bit more advanced but it is NOT mandatory to take 101 first!!!! The class usually lasts around two hours and don't be afraid to come alone. There have been many people that sign up by themselves and by the second or third class have new wine friends to have fun with. | |||||

Is on Tuesday nights starting at 7pm. In this class we usually cover wines from Italy, Australia, another on Pinot Noir and then the fourth night is Red Zinfandel Night. The information in Wine 200 is a bit more generalized but as we mentioned - WINE 101 is not a pre-requiste! The wines we cover during this class are subject to availability. |

At the 300 level we taste wines from France. Each night we visit a differnet region and learn the wines that are known from that particular part of France. For example we spend time in Bordeaux, Burgundy, Rhone and Loire Regions. What a great opportunity to taste some fantastic wines! |
